Dr. Simona Ienciu

Hi, I am Simona and I was born and raised in Transylvania, Romania.
For me, everything started with one  passion: reading since I was 8 years old. I believe that if you love what you do, then you don`t have to ‘work’ for a single day in your life.
Led by this passion, I chose to study languages at the University of Oradea. I pursued a Master’s degree in European Cultures and Civilizations before completing my PhD in Philology from University of Oradea.
I have a teaching experience of 18 years. I taught at a Christian high-school and a Christian university what I like most—French language. But my universe is more than French as I am fascinated by knowledge and about God as the inventor of language and the Most High Knowledge.
I love to put the curiosity in the little minds to seek and explore—and after a while they will be able to start their own journey of decovering the world and God.

As C.S. Lewis said “ Joy is the serious business of heaven,” and my goal is to facilitate the students to discover and enjoy the learning process because it is fascinanting.
This year, following God`s calling for my life, I started a new journey at Mayflower.  Keen to discover interesting details about God and His people.

My motto:  Grace carried me here and by grace, I will carry on.
