Ancuta Cheta, BA

Education:          Bachelor of Art

Nationality:        Rumanian

My name is Anca (Ancuta) Cheta, and I was born and raised in a small town in Transylvania, Romania. In 2012 my husband and I decided to move to Vienna, Austria, where we currently live together with our two sons.

My experience with teaching children begins at a young age, volunteering at local orphanages, summer camps and Sunday Bible School. I knew that teaching was the path I wanted to follow so I studied to become an English and French teacher, and received my B.A. from the “1 Decembrie 1918” University in Alba Iulia, Romania. For the past 6 years I have been teaching English at the Noah’s Ark Kindergarten, and this year I started teaching English at MCA, middle school, where I have the chance to work in an international environment.
My experience here has taught me the benefits of bilingualism and mixed aged groups, where the children learn from one another and also help each other. I am confident that students in my class will benefit from the experience that I have acquired over the years, helping them create their own independent way of working and logical thinking.

I look forward to being part of that safe space where students feel confident to grow, academically and socially, and learn to know and trust God, having His love and values embedded in their daily school life.
