Ms. Alana Nixon, BEd 

My name is Alana Nixon. I was born and raised in Ireland, and have been living in Sweden for the last year. I have just moved to Vienna and started the adventure that is learning German!
 
I graduated from Dublin with a Bachelor of Education. I worked full-time in Ireland for two years and then moved abroad, to teach English in Thailand and Cambodia. After I finished in Thailand, I decided to go to Sweden to Bible College and I worked part-time teaching English there as well. 
 
Since I can remember, I have wanted to be a teacher; someone who fosters a safe and meaningful environment where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. I want to encourage and equip children to be good global citizens and to use the gifts and talents that God has given them to their fullest potential! 
 
I am very excited to teach at Mayflower Christian Academy and be a part of the community here. I am excited to see what God will do this year.
